Becca is a final year molecular pharmacology PhD student at the University of Glasgow's Centre for Translational Pharmacology. Her research focuses on the type 5 metabotropic glutamate receptor as a potential drug target for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.

Marco is a second  year pharmacology PhD student at the Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences (SIPBS). He is currently characterising the presence of protease activated receptor 4 in mitochondria and its impact in cardiovascular function.

Beth is a third year PhD student at the University of Glasgow within the Centre for Translational Pharmacology. Her PhD research is on determining the role of phosphorylation of the mGlu5 receptor, a receptor linked to neurodegeneration.

Ashley is a final year PhD student  based in SIPBS. Her PhD is looking at how cancer treatments affect the heart, focusing on endothelial cells and the JNK pathway.  Her main area of  interest is cardiotoxicity.

Kirsty is a first year pharmacology PhD student in SIPBS at the University of Strathclyde with a focus on non-canonical NFkB signalling pathways in cancer and cardiovascular cell function.
